I get the hype over AP but with his odds probably in the 2-1 range I got to look for someone else. Frosted looks to be peaking at the right time and his numbers are close to AP's. He'll be no lower than 10-1. Thoughts?

Hey mestro157, I was thinking the same thing. There is no reason to take a #kyderby horse with those odds, especially this year. Frosted does look to be peaking, although I believe Firing Line may be my favorite horse at this point

Hey Simeon and Mestro, I think i am in the same boat as both of you all here for the 2015 #kyderby. Firing Line may be my favorite right now, as AP's odds are dropping like its hot. I am going for value this derby.

Is there anyone else who has a #KYDERBY favorite besides #americanpharoah ? Curious to hear everyones ideas. It will be interesting to see the post position draw also

Carpe Diem is another interesting horse, love the breeding and appears to be peaking at the right time. Pletcher might be flying under the radar with this guy. Cali money will be all over AP and Dort, Firing Line too. Simeon, I totally agree with you about this horse, that Sunland race was visually impressive. If you like Dortmund, you gotta like this horse.

The kyderby is very intriguing this year. Mestro I have seen quite a few people saying if you like Dortmund you would like that horse? Sometimes I feel as though that is apples and oranges. I am just glad we have more than a week to figure it out, because right now I am not sure where to waste my money. Also, Simeon firing line is my top pick for now for #kyderby

Interesting point. I wonder how badly the odds will change depending on where the horse draws. I hope none of the good horses get the 1 or 17th position ( I think) because they very seldom win. I would love for someone like Firing Line in this years #derby to come flying at the end at a nice price. Of course my options will be 100% open until then.

Hey Kirwan, thanks for your input. In my opinion Baffertt and Pletcher have a bunch of horses in the field. Soooo they both have a good chance to be honest. The thing with hadgi paladgi (Mutahsfkdjslfa) however you spell it is a great horse, but havent really checked him out much. The lasix thing is not a big deal apparently otherwise they wouldve gone ahead and done it. For some reason I cannot get off Firing Line, but maybe that will change?

Kirwan- Muhaabtij has never ran with Lasix as it is banned in Dubai, the UK and almost everywhere. It will not be an issue, in my opinion it will help his chances. If he were to get Lasix that would likely hurt his chances without any exposure to it prior and without any exposure on his bloodline.

Kirby I agree, I do not know why that was even brought up as a possible issue. Although it may help some horses, why even think about doing it on the biggest horse racing stage. Kirwan, I would definitely keep him in your exotics if that is what you play?
